Superintendent Dr. Terry Dade opened orientation this morning by welcoming 49 new teachers and support staff to Falls Church City Public Schools.
The group includes classroom teachers, instructional assistants, specialists, and support staff joining Mount Daniel, Oak Street Elementary, Jessie Thackrey Preschool, Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School, Meridian High School, and Central Office.
Orientation wraps up Wednesday, August 12. Teachers report to their buildings for workdays Thursday and Friday. Professional development for all staff runs Monday through Wednesday of next week, followed by two more workdays. Students return Monday, August 24.
