Advanced Academic Advisory Committee
Purpose:
To aid the Superintendent and School Board in matters about the education and identification of gifted and talented students in the school system.
To review the adopted Plan annually for Instruction for Gifted and Talented Students, and review the extent to which the plan for the previous year was implemented, and make recommendations for amendment to the plan.
Authority: School Board Policy 5.12 (I-6)
Appointment Month: May & June
Term: July 1 - June 30 for three years
Composition: 7 community members, 1 student
